William Victor Schotten founded Schotten FilmWorks in 2000.  Under his leadership they have produced five feature films, two documentaries, industrials, commercials and two short films.  With strong roots in the 70’s and 80’s William is influenced by Fulci, Argento and Lenzi and honors the directing and editing style of that era.  Shotten’s work has sat on the shelves of Circuit city, Hollywood Video, Tower Records, media Play, and Suncoast Video as well as Target.com, Bestbuy.com, amazon.com, and borders.com

DAVE CALERIS

Dave Caleris joined Schotten Film Works in 2000.  Dave was bitten by the Photography Bug in 1988 while serving in the U.S. Army in Germany.  His desire to make films goes back to seeing the original "Star Wars" in 1977.  He has shot all five features and two short films for Schotten Film Works.

Arthur Leo Collins is a life long fan of horror and began studying SFX at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1999. In 2002 he began working as a news videographer/editor and currently works for our local NBC affiliate WFMJ. In 2005 he started with SFW as a camera opperater and production assistant on the film Sabbath. He has worked on every SFW project since with credits including assistant director, producer, actor and SFX superviser. He is currently in pre-production on his first feature to be shot in 2010. Planting Season, co-written with Mike Petrucci, is to be a stylish multi-genre throwback horror film infuenced by early Wes Craven and Tobe Hooper.

MIKE PETRUCCI

Mike Petrucci began work for Schottenfilmworks in the summer of 2002.  Worked as a photographer on Dead Life, The Brass Ring, and Sabbath. Has a degree in Broadcasting from Youngstown State University and is a full time camera man at local NBC affliliate WFMJ.  Has been a horror, sci-fi fan since he was eight.  Always loved film making and his favorite movies in the genre include Dead Alive, Evil Dead, Halloween, Star Wars, (original of course), Re-Amimator.
